It’s a pretty simple application. But hey, we can all use a little help from our friends.

Using the Application the first time – Creating your First Yoga Class Card

1. First Time Launching App – The Welcome Screen

When you launch the application the first time you will see the Little Shiny Om logo and it will fade away.

2. First Class Card – Add a new class card

Press the Add a new class card button to create your first Class Card.

3. First Class Card – enter a name for card

Enter a name for this Class Card. Usually the studio name you are attending.

4. First Class Card – enter how many classes are on the card

Enter the number of classes. If it has no limit, leave it as unlimited. Note if you select unlimited, it will set it for 365 classes.

5. First Class Card – enter card expiration date

Enter a date for the expiration of the card.

6. First Class Card – select alert option for your new card

If you want to be alerted when the card is expiring enter how many days before it expires you want the notice. This will appear at 8AM on the specified days before your card expires that you select. You will see an alert on your phone on the app icon and on the app itself on the home screen. Note: this is optional.

7. First Class Card – Select a card color and save it

Select a color you want for your class card. Tip: use different color cards for different studios, so you can keep thinkgs clear. Then Press either Save Card, or Save & Open. Save Card will return you to the homescreen. Save & Open will let you see the card list of classes, opening the card right away.

8. Save and Open the Card – viewing a created card

If you pressed Save & Open you will see the opened card and be able to check off that you attended a class.

9. Yoga Card – Check off a class you have attended

When you check off a class on the card, a quotation paper pops open. You can share this quote to your Facebook, or Twitter. Or you can close the quote popup to return to the opened card. Or use the back arrow at the top of the screen to return to the home screen for the app.

10. Quote Posting – Facebook

Send the quotation graphic up to your Facebook, to share with friends. Let them know you completed a class.

Send the quotation graphic up to Twitter, to share with friends. Let them know you completed a class.

12. Save the Quote or copy it

You can aslo hold your finger over the quote and press, and bring up the save image and copy dialog buttons. Save the image places it into your photo library. Copy places it into your clipboard, and then you can paste it into an email if you like.

13. Back to Home Screen

Congratulations! – You’ve made your first Yoga Class Card. Now when you return to the home screen, and when you launch the application the next time, you will see your Yoga Class Card on the home screen.

14. More Cards for more classes

As you create and add more cards for other yoga classes or other yoga studios you attend, you will see more class cards on the home screen

Managing Yoga Class Cards

15. Viewing your cards in a list

Click the list button in the upper right corner to view, edit and manage your yoga class cards in a list view.

16. Editing in the list view

You can edit a card by clicking on it and iit will take you to the card’s editing screen. Or you can delete multiple cards by pressing the edit button in the upper right, and then clicking the circles next to the cards you wish to delete. Or you can also delete a single card by swiping to delete that class card. Note that your current class cards show at the top area and completed or expired class cards show in the lower area. If you have many cards in these areas you can scroll by dragging up and down with your finger.

17. Editing (Deleting) in the list

This shows the multiple delete view which allows you to select more than one card to delete. Select whichever cards you would like to delete and then click Delete at the bottom of this screen.

This shows the single delete action. Swipe the class card name sideways to bring up the delete button. Then press the delete button to just delete one item.

19. Alert on the home screen

You will see a red bar when you have an alert on the homescreen. Click on this red bar to see the alert(s) the app is telling you about.

20. Alerts – managing and deleting

Similar to the list view for class cards, the alerts screen will show you class cards that have an alert set on them to remind you of their expiration date. An alert can also be triggered if you have completed all the classes on the card (and have alerts set above zero). Lick edit to delete alerts in groups more than one. Or click Clear All if you wish to remove all alerts. The alert will not come up again.
